Campus France Research and Innovation Meetings

The Rencontres Campus France, organized in partnership with the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research and the institutional conferences (France Universités, CDEFI, CGE and CDEFM), provide a unique forum for dialogue to promote the attractiveness of French higher education and research abroad. They bring together diplomatic posts and Espaces Campus France in 50 countries, representatives of French higher education establishments and our main partners.

At a time when trends show a slight decline in the attractiveness of doctoral programs, and global competition to attract talent and promote scientific excellence is increasing, AFD has decided to use the Rencontres Campus France de la Recherche et de l'Innovation as a forum for reflection and exchange on scientific attractiveness as a springboard for international mobility.

In addition to meetings between diplomatic posts and the institutions and organizations in attendance, a wide range of topics will be addressed during the conferences and workshops scheduled over the 2 days: initiatives taken by institutions to boost the attractiveness of PhDs to the international public; actions taken by research organizations or diplomatic posts to promote cooperation; strategies for consolidating France's position as a scientific partner and showcasing innovative French technologies, particularly in relation to global public goods issues.

Several of the major research organizations that are members of the Campus France forum will be on hand to meet representatives of diplomatic posts and other scientific cooperation bodies.
