Every year for over 5 years, the Jean-Jacques and Felicia LOPEZ-LORETA Foundation has been encouraging students from four European public universities to carry out an innovative and highly promising project, which may be an academic research project or an entrepreneurial venture.
To this end, the Jean-Jacques and Félicia LOPEZ-LORETA Foundation wishes to award a prize of 1 million euros to a winner from each of the Hautes Écoles (prize regulations attached).
The four European universities are :
- ISAE-SUPAERO,
- Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich,
- École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne,
- École Polytechnique Paris-Saclay.
The 2018, 2019 and 2021 editions each saw an ISAE-SUPAERO graduate awarded this excellence prize, and the final selection for the 2022 awards is currently underway...
What are the requirements for applying to ISAE-SUPAERO?
- Hold an ISAE-SUPAERO diploma(Bachelor, Engineer, Master, Mastère spécialisé®, Doctor) less than 2 years old, as of April1, 2022.
- Applications are personal andmust be sent to: corinne.chabanne@isae-supaero.fr with the subject line "Application for the Lopez-Loreta Foundation Prize 2023 edition", attaching a pre-file in a single PDF file before September 30, 2022.
- This pre-file, written in French or English (but if it is written in English, a French translation must be attached) must include :
- a free-form description of the project, presenting both the candidate's personality and references, as well as his or her research or entrepreneurial project (maximum 8 pages per project)
- the candidate's curriculum vitae (2 pages maximum), including contact details and a copy of university diplomas.
- a cover page with the candidate's contact details, the name of the school and the name of the project.
Timetable :
- 15/04/22: Launch of the call for applications
- 09/30/22 : Deadline for sending applications to ISAE-SUPAEO
- 01/11/22 : Pre-selected files sent by ISAE-SUPAERO to the Jean-Jacques and Félicia LOPEZ-LORETA Foundation
- 01/12/22: Communication by the Fondation Jean-Jacques et Félicia LOPEZ-LORETA of the pre-selected applications considered eligible.
- 20/01/23 : In the event of selection by the Jean-Jacques and Félicia LOPEZ-LORETA Foundation, a complete dossier must be prepared for transmission to ISAE-SUPARO by January 20, 2023.
This dossier will then be finalized with the support of ISAE-SUPAERO, the ISAE-SUPAERO Foundation and the ISAE SUPAERO ENSICA Alumni Association, before transmission of the final dossier to the Jean-Jacques and Félicia LOPEZ-LORETA Foundation.
