Club presentation

Student technical clubs taking part in the forum:

  • Supaéro Horology Club - Théo DEVILLARD

The watchmaking club aims to create a community around this universe within Supaero and to help amateurs and enthusiasts alike discover it! To achieve this, the club is divided into 3 sections: Technical/Events and Community, whose respective activities are visits & fittings/learning & practice on mechanisms or even design and finally exchanges & sharing via a Facebook group.

  • Supaero Space Section (Scube) - Geoffroy MORDELET

The SUPAERO Space Section (SCube) is a student club of ISAE-SUPAERO (Institut Supérieur de l'Aéronautique et de l'Espace). Its aim is to design and build experimental rockets, and launch them during campaigns such as C'Space. With some 50 members, the club has successfully launched no fewer than 15 rockets since its creation in 2010.

  • SolarBoost - Gala Gascue

SolarBoost is an ambitious project for a zero-fossil-energy urban velomobile with almost unlimited autonomy. It's a streamlined bicycle powered by solar energy and the driver's own motive power. https://www.solarboost.fr/

  • CubeSat - Alexandre GIRARD

The Supaero CubeSat Club is the institute's technical club, enabling students to discover the world of space and the space industry through the design of a student nano-satellite, 100% Toulouse! Code name: TOLOSAT. The project was born of the club's alliance with the ASTRE association, which brings together students from INSA, ENSEEIHT, ENAC and Paul Sabatier University. They join the thirty or so ISAE SUPAERO students (1A, 2A, césure or 4A engineering students, masters students, CNAM engineers ... ) involved in the club, bringing the total number of members involved in the project to 60.

  • Mars Analog Mission - Maxime JALABERT

The Mars Analog Research and Simulation (M.A.R.S.) club focuses on 3 areas:

- Popularizing science in junior and senior high schools, to pass on our passion for space and inspire young students to pursue higher education.

- The design of more technical projects such as CoRoDro, part of the IGLUNA call for projects from the Swiss Space Center and the European Space Agency. The aim is to develop autonomous navigation between a drone and a rover to explore the lunar Lava Tubes.

- An exceptional 4-week mission to simulate Martian life in the Utah desert, starting in 2021.
