Hôtel de la Marine

Guided tour

An iconic French landmark with a breathtaking view of Place de la Concorde.

The Hôtel de la Marine is a witness to France's changing history, from the time of royalty to the present day. It was first used as Crown furniture (the forerunner of the Mobilier National), then as the headquarters of the French Navy.

In 2021, it will open to the public for the first time, 7 days a week, with an exceptional cultural offering.

Visitors are invited to take an immersive tour of the sumptuous, completely refurbished Intendant's apartments, and the ceremonial salons, which open onto a loggia overlooking the Place de la Concorde.

Last but not least, the exhibition gallery at the Hôtel de la Marine presents for the first time on a permanent basis a renewed selection of masterpieces from the Al Thani Collection.
