Star finders enable satellites to determine their orientation by locating themselves in relation to the celestial vault. They consist of a camera, an electronic unit, software and a library of star positions.

Franck Poirrier, (SUPAERO 1984), CEO of Sodern, is honored to come and talk to us about the star sights developed by his company, one of the world leaders in this market.

Sodern develops and markets products suitable for all missions, from low-Earth orbit to interplanetary space exploration. These star sights benefit from extensive in-flight experience, serving the world's leading space agencies and satellite manufacturers.

Practical information

As usual, the conference will be followed by a cocktail reception to extend the discussions over a friendly drink, and then, for those who wish, a dinner in the presence of the speakers.
