Appointments -

Pierre-Éric POMMELLET (X 1984 - S 1989) will shortly be appointed Chairman and CEO of Naval Group, to succeed Hervé Guillou as Chairman of the industrial group from April 1. This proposal should be ratified by the Board of Directors, which will be convened in February. A graduate of Ecole Polytechnique, Sup Aero and a Master of Science from MIT, Pierre-Éric POMMELLET began his career at DGA as an armament engineer, then at DCN (now DCNS, then Naval Group) before becoming chief of staff to Jean-Pierre Raffarin, then Minister for SMEs, Trade and Crafts from 1995 to 1997. Pierre-Éric POMMELLET then joined Thales in 1997, where he is currently Executive Vice President, Operations and Performance.
