Brice COMMENT (S 2004) is the new Director of the SKF Aerospace site in Lons-le-Saunier, the SKF Group's worldwide center of excellence for composites. Brice COMMENT began his career with the Airbus Group, with responsibilities for production management and international projects. He then moved to Jet Aviation, Switzerland, before joining the Mecachrome Group as Operations Director. Plant Manager for 3 years, he then took up a new position as Director of the Aerostructures Business Unit. The SKF Aerospace site specializes in the manufacture of ball, roller and joint bearings for aerospace applications and composite aircraft solutions. It also manufactures aircraft and helicopter flight controls, engine mountings, landing gear and structural parts. The site employs 400 people and produces 600,000 parts a year. "The priority is to transform the plant, through two main axes: automation and digitalization. These two main drivers will enable us to develop the company, increase employment and ultimately boost profitability".
