Thomas Pesquet will take command of the International Space Station at the end of his mission

On Tuesday March 16, the European Space Agency (ESA) announced the appointment of Thomas Pesquet as captain of the International Space Station (ISS) during his next stay in space. Take off is scheduled for April 22 with SpaceX's American Crew Dragon capsule. This is the first time that a Frenchman has held this post. "I am very honored and happy to be offered the command of the Station for my second mission", reacted the astronaut on Twitter.
