Discover OSE inGÉ and take part in this innovative support program for CPGE students

Created in 2022 by ISAE-SUPAERO as a continuation of its OSE student social outreach program, joined by ENAC in 2023 and Institut Polytechnique de Paris in 2024, OSE inGÉ is part of our schools' student social outreach programs. It is a support program for students in scientific preparatory classes for the grandes écoles (CPGE ) in the Occitanie academic region.

► OSE inGÉ, in a few words

OSE inGÉ aims to promote student diversity (social, cultural, territorial and gender) in access to the Grandes Ecoles and the world of engineering. The program is aimed at female students and/or students on scholarship throughout their CPGE studies, to help them build their future plans and develop their ambitions. It helps to combat self-censorship, to support the development of self-confidence and to encourage the development of all potential and talent.

Device commitments :

  • Support students throughout their CPGE years, right up to the competitive entrance exams
  • Guide them in building their career plans and aspirations
  • Help them prepare for oral exams
  • help them gain a deeper understanding of the world of the Grandes Ecoles, scientific careers and the world of engineering
  • Encourage them to discover and exploit their full potential
  • Help them with the logistics of taking the oral exams

A few figures:

In 2022-2023: 42 first-year CPGE science students from 3 Toulouse high schools and 42 alumni mentors!

In 2023-2024: 30 second-year CPGE students and 49 first-year CPGE students from 6 high schools in Toulouse, 76 alumni mentors !

In 2024-2025: 44 second-year CPGE students and 70 students from the Toulouse and Montpellier academies, nearly 100 alumni mentors!

Our goal by 2026: to have supported 250 students from the time they start CPGE to the time they pass their competitive entrance exams!

Program:

  • CUSTOMIZED MENTORING

Students benefit from personalized, one-to-one support from an alumni mentor, according to their availability and needs. They are supported right up to the competitive entrance exams by an alumnus of one of the schools involved, who, thanks to his or her experience, support and listening skills, helps them answer their questions and reinforce their choices. Mentors receive expert training to help them provide the best possible support to CPGE students.

Alumni mentors from the 7 partner engineering schools (ISAE-SUPAERO, ENAC, École polytechnique, ENSTA Paris, ENSAE Paris, Télécom Paris, Télécom SudParis) are committed to supporting their mentee throughout his or her two years of scientific preparatory classes.

  • ON-CAMPUS IMMERSION COURSES

Students are welcomed on campus four times during their 2 years of CPGE. These internships provide an opportunity to :

    • discover campuses of higher education establishments,
    • talk to former CPGE students and professionals with inspiring backgrounds,
    • meet their mentors,
    • consolidate their knowledge and
    • learn how to better manage their CPGE years.

  • ONE-OFF ACTIONS

Once a year, an evening meeting with professionals is organized in each partner high school.

► Our 7 partner high schools for 2024-2025!

In its second year of existence, the program has accompanied its first class of preparatory students to the competitive entrance exams! We are continuing our commitment by opening 70 places in 2024 to first-year CPGE students from 7 schools in the Toulouse and Montpellier academies:

  • Lycées Déodat de Séverac, Pierre de Fermat and Bellevue in Toulouse,
  • Lycées Théophile Gautier and Jean Dupuy in Tarbes,
  • Lycée Joffre in Montpellier,
  • Lycée Alfonse Daudet, Nîmes
